Mercedes Mone issues fiery response to her opponent at AEW Dynamite 250

Mercedes Mone initially seemed reluctant when she discovered who her opponent would be on the upcoming 250th episode of AEW Dynamite, but she now seems fired up. The TBS Champion issued a defiant response after being taunted by her challenger, Nyla Rose.

Mercedes Mone issued a TBS Championship open challenge to every female on AEW's roster except for Britt Baker. This was done to spite The Doctor, but Mone may have gotten more than she bargained for, as former AEW Women's World Champion, Nyla Rose, answered the call.

Mercedes initially seemed apprehensive about facing The Native Beast, but after Rose taunted the TBS Champion by claiming that she would "wreck" a Mercedes on the upcoming episode of Dynamite, The CEO responded with confidence:

"Oh hell naw! You ain’t going to leave a scratch on this beauty. 💅🏽 There’s a price to pay when you mess with Mercedes Moné See you #AEWDynamite250 @NylaRoseBeast," wrote Mone.

Nyla Rose, ever the social media troll, then posted a gif of herself holding the TBS Championship. Mone responded and demanded that Nyla delete the tweet.

"DELETE THIS," wrote the champion.

Former WWE writer has received praise for her work with Mercedes Mone in AEW

AEW's women's division is arguably the hottest it's ever been, with an enhanced spotlight on television and several concurrent storylines receiving acclaim. According to a recent report, some of the credit belongs to former WWE writer, Jen Pepperman.

Mercedes Mone brought Pepperman with her when she signed with AEW earlier this year. But while the former WWE writer is primarily involved with Mone's creative direction, it seems she's also had a hand in several other aspects of All Elite Wrestling's recent productions.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jen Pepperman has impressed several names backstage. She's been praised for her contributions to promos in segments with Mone and Britt Baker, as well as others like Mark Briscoe and Will Ospreay.

All In 2024 is set to feature some major action for the women's division of AEW, with Mariah May challenging her former mentor, Toni Storm, and Britt Baker potentially facing off with Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship.
