Mercedes Mone's advocate claims she is on a "different level" than most AEW talent, only Logan Paul can match her in WWE
AEW put gold around the waist of Mercedes Moné (fka Sasha Banks) in her first-ever match with the company at Double or Nothing. Mone is now a dual champion and apparently has received a big offer from outside of Tony Khan's promotions. An advocate for Moné revealed the offer and made interesting remarks on how she compares to WWE United States Champion Logan Paul.
The CEO is now feuding with Britt Baker after capturing the NJPW Strong Women's Championship from Stephanie Vaquer at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. Mercedes went into the Winner Takes All match as the AEW TBS Champion. Despite recent heat from fans, she has had a successful year, and part of that success is due to writer and producer Keven Undergaro. The Afterbuzz TV founder also bills himself as an advocate for Moné.
Undergaro recently spoke about The Boss on Heal Squad and revealed that Moné may have her own custom sneakers in the near future. He then compared the 32-year-old grappler to the rest of the All Elite locker room and to WWE United States Champion Logan Paul.
"There was a rep from a major shoe chain that was talking. With Mercedes, being her advocate, I can't help when I know, she's on a different level than the talent. Most of the talent there. I would say all of it. Just in terms of her experience and her level of fame and what she's achieved. If she was at the other place, the competition, the same would be said with the exception of maybe, current roster, Logan Paul. He's a phenom," Keven Undergaro said. [H/T to Figthful]
AEW currently has a deal with Champs Sports to sell its custom Reebok sneakers in the stores. Limited edition shoes for The Young Bucks and Brodie Lee have been released under the deal so far.
Is Mercedes Moné going for a third title following the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door win?
Mercedes Moné currently holds the AEW TBS Championship and the NJPW Strong Women's Championship. This is not her first run as a dual champion, as she has held the RAW Women's Championship and the Women's Tag Team Championship in WWE.
A fan on X recently commented that two titles are not enough and asked The CEO when she is going to win a third. The former Sasha Banks fueled the rumor mill with her five-word reply.
"Which one should I choose," Mercedes Moné wrote.
If approved, Mercedes is likely to be able to wrestle for certain indie promotions under her AEW deal. Athena currently holds the ROH World Women's Championship, while Billie Starkz is the inaugural ROH Women's World Television Champion.
