Mercedes Mone's (fka Sasha Banks) title reign in jeopardy due to legend's AEW return

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone is set to defend her titles in a double Championship match against a returning star. The match was announced during the most recent episode of Collision.

Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) has been the TBS and NJPW Strong Women's Champion for months now. She last defended her TBS title at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, where she defeated Hikaru Shida. Meanwhile, Mone is slated to defend her titles against the returning legend in question, Emi Sakura.

Sakura was last seen on the April 20 episode of Rampage, where she was defeated by Yuka Sakazaki. During tonight's episode of Collision, it was announced that Emi Sakura will challenge Mercedes for both the TBS and NJPW Strong Women's Championship on Dynamite Title Tuesday.

On the same night of AEW Collision, The CEO, along with Kamille confronted and attacked Kris Statlander, teasing a new rivalry.

Before Mone deals with Statlander, she has to take care of the Japanese legend at the upcoming Dynamite on Tuesday. It remains to be seen what transpires this Tuesday.
