Mercedes Moné sends an interesting message ahead of Dynamite; former AEW champion reacts

A top AEW star reacts to Mercedes Moné sending a message ahead of Dynamite. The former played a crucial role in carrying the company during the pandemic. Thunder Rosa held the AEW Women's World Championship in 2022 for 172 days and was vacated after being injured.

Meanwhile, Mercedes Moné is the reigning TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women's Champion. She defeated Stephanie Vaquer at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view to win the latter championship. After Mone's victory, Britt Baker returned after nine months and confronted her.

Ahead of the show, Tony Khan also announced the CEO's celebration on last week's Dynamite. Baker opened up about her injuries and hiatus to the fans. However, the CEO rudely interrupted her segment to move ahead with her aforementioned victory celebration. The duo then had a heated confrontation.

Recently, Tony Khan again announced that, during the upcoming Dynamite, the CEO would raise a toast after becoming a double champion. Later, Mone reacted by saying, 'Time to celebrate with no interruptions,' indirectly calling Baker's promo an "interruption."

Former AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa has reacted to the TBS Champion's tweet with a GIF.

"She did dat," said the GIF.

Sam Robert thinks Mercedes Moné is officially a heel

Mercedes Moné has presented herself as a face since debuting on AEW in March. On the recent Dynamite, she had a brief celebration last week for becoming a double champion, interrupting Britt Baker's promo/

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, analyst Sam Roberts claimed that the TBS Champion is a heel as she celebrated her win while interrupting the returning D.M.D.

"I don't know if Mercedes Mone is officially a 'heel' heel, but she certainly came across like a heel, and throwing a celebration for yourself while there is a returning superstar already in the ring feels like a heel move. Man, I think that this should be when Mercedes just goes all the way. I think Mercedes as a heel is a hundred percent the way to go, especially if she's gonna do a belt collector-type gimmick," he said.

It remains to be seen if Britt Baker will barge in on the upcoming celebration of Mercedes Moné.
