Mercedes Mone shares concerning health update after brutal spot on AEW Dynamite
Mercedes Mone was involved in a brutal spot on AEW Dynamite. Following the episode, she has shared a concerning update with her fans.
The CEO is one of the top All Elite stars and she currently holds both the NJPW Strong Women's and the AEW TBS championships. She has defeated every challenger for her titles but could be facing her biggest threat yet in Kris Statlander.
This rivalry got more personal after Kamille and Mercedes Mone tried to run over Statlander on the October 30 edition of Dynamite. However, this plan backfired as the former TBS Champion took out the former WWE star and her bodyguard. This week on Wednesday's show the TBS Champion was being interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette when Kris Statlander showed up. After the interview, the 29-year-old attacked Mone and Kamille and drove them through a wall.
Following this segment, the former Sasha Banks took to her X (fka Twitter) account to let her fans know that her back still hurts from the brutal attack.
"My back hurts soooooo bad," she wrote.

Mercedes Mone has her eyes set on another title in AEW
It didn't take long for Mercedes Mone to become a double champion after arriving in AEW. She won the TBS Championship from Willow Nightingale and then defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the NJPW Strong Women's Championship. Now it appears that she has her eyes set on a third title.
During a recent interview with Uproxx Sports, The CEO was all praise for Mariah May as she recalled the journey of the current AEW Women's World Champion. She also acknowledged her quick rise in the business but also mentioned that she had her eyes on May's title, thereby teasing a future match between the two stars.
"I am super proud to watch from afar," Mercedes Mone stated. "She came in as a super fan, just loving wrestling, loved it so much that she moved from England to Japan, trained out in Stardom just to hone her craft, and now she’s here. She is our Women’s World Champion, beating Toni Storm in one of the best storylines in women’s history. To see her rise this fast and to see how good she is in the ring, it’s so incredible. Like I said, we have the best women’s division in the game right now. I’m definitely looking at the title that she has around her waist." [H/T: Ringside News]
It will be interesting to see if Mercedes Mone will be able to go on and win a third title and add the AEW Women's World Championship to her list of accolades.
