Mercedes Moné spotted with former WWE star ahead of AEW in-ring debut
Mercedes Moné is set to make her AEW in-ring debut soon at Double or Nothing. Before her big day, she was spotted with a former WWE star. The star in question here is Tyler Breeze.
The CEO became All Elite in March and made her on-screen debut on Dynamite: Big Business on March 13. She is scheduled to have her first match in the promotion at the upcoming Double or Nothing on May 26. Her opponent will be the reigning TBS Champion Willow Nightingale.
That said, Mercedes Moné recently went to Flatbacks Wrestling School to train some young aspiring wrestlers. One of her trainees posted a picture of herself alongside The CEO. Former WWE star Tyler Breeze was also spotted in the photo.

Konnan explains why Mercedes Moné is being booed in AEW
When Mercedes Moné arrived in AEW, she received a warm welcome and a big pop from fans. But her hype has dwindled in the past weeks. The fans have even started booing her.
Speaking on his Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL podcast, WCW veteran Konnan revealed why former Sasha Banks is getting such negative treatment from the wrestling universe.
"For years we've been saying that she cuts heel promos as a babyface, even when she was in WWE, then she came here [AEW] and then check it out. Her first weekend that she came in, she got a thunderous, obviously she was in Boston, but she got a thunderous ovation, CEO chants, like huge babyface thing. Her promo was very heelish and we brought it up. Second week, she got a huge ovation, her promo was heelish, we brought it up. Third week her promo was heelish, we brought it up. Fourth week, the fans figured out and turned on her," Konnan said.
Mercedes Moné is a former WWE Superstar and was supposed to change the landscape of AEW upon arrival. Tony Khan made fans wait considerably for her in-ring debut and many wrestling legends have credited this as a factor in her losing her usual charm.
