MJF breaks mindboggling personal record ahead of AEW Worlds End
MJF has been a busy man throughout 2024. The former AEW World Champion spent the first half of the year rehabbing a torn labrum, and his schedule has been packed with wrestling, media appearances, and Hollywood obligations since then. He's now posted a personal record in the gym ahead of his match against Adam Cole at AEW Worlds End.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman has proven himself in the ring many times, but he's still working hard to stay in shape. The 28-year-old recently posted a clip of himself working out on a belt squat machine. He broke his personal record by squatting a set with 920 pounds.
Alongside the clip, MJF posted a sarcastic message aimed at his arch-rival, Adam Cole. The two are set to face off at Worlds End later this month, but it doesn't seem like The Wolf of Wrestling is concerned at all:
"New pr. 920. Gee wiz I sure do hope I’ll be able to hang in there at worlds end with Adam Cole. See ya tomorrow night," Friedman wrote.
MJF teases "unfiltered" segment on AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash
AEW is celebrating the holidays this week with a special edition of Dynamite. The show is already stacked with highly anticipated matches and segments, including Will Ospreay vs. Darby Allin in the Continental Classic tournament.
MJF will appear on tomorrow's Dynamite to address his upcoming match against Adam Cole at Worlds End. The former AEW World Champion has promised that this promo is a must-see, advertising it as live, unfiltered, and unedited:
"Not via satellite in a dimly lit mansion. But live. Unfiltered. Unedited. #ThankMeLater," Max wrote on X/Twitter.
Maxwell's appearances in AEW have been sporadic over the last few months due to his role in Happy Gilmore 2, which he recently finished filming. Now that he's back in action, it seems The Wolf of Wrestling is determined to remind people of his status in the company.
