MJF to face a massive setback just days before AEW All In 2024? Looking at the chances

MJF captured the AEW International Championship on the 250th episode of Dynamite earlier this month. He locked horns with previous champion Will Ospreay in an hour-long showdown and registered an impressive victory. Interestingly, on the July 24 episode of Dynamite, the 28-year-old renamed his newly won title to the AEW American Championship.

Will Ospreay and MJF will battle once again for the AEW American Championship at the highly anticipated All In 2024 PPV, which is scheduled to take place on August 25, 2024, in London. However, there is a possibility that this match will be a non-title affair.

It was recently announced that Friedman will defend his title against RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion Michael Oku, at RevPro Summer Sizzler 2024. Friedman will probably retain the belt, however, Ospreay could interfere in the scheduled bout and cost the current AEW American Champion his title.

RevPro Wrestling (short for Revolution Pro Wrestling) is a British wrestling promotion where Ospreay regularly performed. Furthermore, he held the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship for more than 900 days, making him one of the most beloved stars of the promotion.

Even though the above scenario is highly unlikely, the wrestling business is unpredictable and anything can happen at any given time.

WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson believes MJF can achieve ‘unlimited’ success

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, long-time wrestling journalist Bill Apter spoke to The Four Horsemen's Arn Anderson. In this interview, Anderson revealed that he is a huge fan of Friedman, and if the 28-year-old plays his cards right, he could reach unfathomable heights.

"I think MJF is unlimited in what he can achieve in this business as long as — you gotta take less chances in this business," said Arn Anderson. [H/T 411MANIA]

Friedman is a former and the longest-reigning AEW World Champion. It'll be interesting to see how things turn out in the build-up to the highly anticipated rematch with Ospreay.
