MJF gives an important health update after recent AEW return

Former AEW World Champion MJF has been the talk of the town after his recent return to the company. The Wolf of Wrestling has given an important update on his health following the return.

Last Month at the Double or Nothing PPV event, MJF made his surprising return to All Elite Wrestling where he took out his former best friend Adam Cole. He then made his return to TV a couple of weeks ago on Dynamite where he kick-started his feud with Rush. Both men culminated the rivalry at last week's Dynamite where MJF successfully defeated the Luchador.

Speaking in an interview with Fox 5, MJF revealed that he's feeling great after his return and is ready for the future.

"I’m ready to go 110 million percent. I feel great. I look great. Let’s be honest. Can we get a shot of these guys? I mean, come on. I’m ready. I’m ready. I’m absolutely ready.” [H/T: RingsideNews]

MJF comments on re-signing with AEW instead of going to the WWE

MJF's AEW contract reportedly expired on January 1, 2024. Many believed that Friedman was WWE-bound and could make his debut in the Royal Rumble. However, MJF shockingly showed up at the Double or Nothing PPV where he announced that he is staying with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Speaking in an interview with Fox 5, the Salt of the Earth revealed that the decision to re-sign with All Elite Wrestling was easy.

"Look, it was a very easy decision for me, mainly because Tony Khan is paying me an exorbitant amount of money. But outside of that, I also, I believe in AEW, I believe that is where the best wrestle, I believe that we have some of the most top-tier elite talent you get to see in the world today."

MJF is set to face CMLL's Hechicero at the Forbidden Door. It will be interesting to see if Friedman targets the AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland after the PPV.
