MJF highlights AEW star's blatant flaw that fans have been calling out for weeks
MJF cut a vicious promo against his arch-rival on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. The latter, Adam Cole, is one step closer to battling The Salt of The Earth after his performance on the flagship show.
Tonight, Adam Cole competed in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal for a shot at challenging MJF for his Dynamite Diamond Ring. The bout ended controversially as both The Panama City Playboy and his long-time friend Kyle O'Reilly seemingly emerged as joint winners.
It was later revealed that the former Undisputed Elite stablemates will go one-on-one next week at Winter is Coming 2024 to earn the right to face MJF for his ring at Worlds End 2024. The Wolf of Wrestling later appeared on this week's Dynamite, addressing Adam Cole from an undisclosed location.
Friedman reminisced on his past partnership with Cole and blamed the former NXT Champion's betrayal of him for driving MJF to injure Roderick Strong at Full Gear 2024. He also observed that Cole would have to fight his friend O'Reilly for a match against him at Worlds End because of his own actions.
MJF also claimed that Cole was responsible for The Death Riders' ongoing carnage in the promotion, as him costing Friedman the AEW World Title last year eventually led to Jon Moxley regaining it at WrestleDream. He declared that Cole was actually a "jaundice-infested" villain in the story rather than its hero and stated confidently that he would fail to beat The Violent Artist next week.
Friedman's comments were, in all likelihood, referencing the conspicuous yellow spray tan Adam Cole often uses on AEW television, which fans have commented about on social media lately.
