MJF makes a mind-boggling AEW All In offer, leaving a confused WWE legend "scratching" his head

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has revealed he was scratching his head when former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) offered a 25-year-old star a match at All In 2024 during last night's episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite.

On last night's Dynamite, MJF was interrupted by Daniel Garcia in the latter's hometown of Buffalo, New York. During the segment, Maxwell Jacob Friedman offered the 25-year-old a match against him at All In 2024. However, Will Ospreay also showed up and seemingly upstaged Friedman during the segment.

The Aerial Assassin offered Garcia an International Title and probably a World Title match next week. Ospreay is set to challenge reigning AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at the Forbidden Door 2024 PPV this weekend. Garcia accepted the offer.

During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray stated that he was confused about both top stars putting over Garcia.

"So now, we got Max [MJF] putting over Daniel Garcia; we got Will Ospreay putting over Daniel Garcia; this is like a feel-good opening of a show for the hometown guy, Daniel Garcia. And then, out of nowhere, [Will] Ospreay says, 'You know what? I'm gonna give you [Daniel Garcia] a match next week for my International Championship, and oh, by the way, since I plan on beating Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door, I'm gonna give you a shot at that championship also!'" he said.

The WWE Hall of Famer admitted that MJF and Ospreay putting over Garcia felt forced.

"So now Will is offering Daniel Garcia a shot at the potential of two championships. All of this [is] because Daniel Garcia has come back on the scene over the past couple of weeks and won a couple of squash matches. So first, I'm scratching my head with my left hand when Max throws out All In, then I'm scratching my head with my right hand when Ospreay throws out the potential of a double championship match next week. I didn't understand it; this felt forced," he added. [5:10-6:32]

MJF is set for a big crossover match at Forbidden Door

After his blockbuster return at Double or Nothing, MJF is set for his first pay-per-view match after several months. The former AEW World Champion is slated to take on CMLL legend, Hechicero, at Forbidden Door this Sunday.

Moreover, Will Ospreay will also be challenging Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Title this Sunday. It will be interesting to see if The Aerial Assassin claims the top prize in the Jacksonville-based promotion this weekend.
