MJF’s girlfriend reacts to his heel turn with a two-word message
MJF's girlfriend has shared her response to the former AEW World Champion's heel turn. The individual in question is Alicia Atout, who posted a two-word message about her partner.
The July 3, 2024 edition of Dynamite, dubbed Beach Break, dealt with the aftermath of Forbidden Door 2024. Days after his pay-per-view loss to AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay defended his International Championship against Daniel Garcia on Wednesday night.
Toward the end of the bout, Maxwell Jacob Friedman - who was in Garcia's corner for the match - offered the latter his Dynamite Diamond Ring to use against Ospreay. However, the former ROH Pure Champion refused to cheat for the victory. Unfortunately, the distraction of returning the ring to MJF led Garcia to suffer an abrupt Hidden Blade to the face, leading to Ospreay picking up the win.
After the match, Friedman feigned concern and support for Garcia before suddenly delivering a low blow to the latter. The former World Champion launched a vicious attack on the budding up-and-comer, busting him open and hitting him with a tombstone piledriver from the second rope. Friedman continued to beat down Garcia until Ospreay returned to the ring to chase him away.
One day after Dynamite: Beach Break, Alicia Atout - a member of AEW's broadcast team and MJF's real-life partner - posted a picture of Friedman assaulting a bloodied Garcia with a two-word caption.
"Sexy beast," tweeted Atout.

Atout returned to AEW as an interviewer earlier this year, returning to the promotion years after her appearance at the inaugural edition of the Double or Nothing pay-per-view in 2019. She has also served as a backstage interviewer in TNA and, more recently, worked in MLW before leaving the promotion last year.
During her time in MLW, Atout had aligned herself with heel star Richard Holliday during the latter's feud with Alexander Hammerstone. Given the 29-year-old's connection with MJF (who had been stablemates with Holliday and Hammerstone in MLW), it remains to be seen if Atout will join forces with The Wolf of Wrestling for his current heel run.
MJF will open the upcoming episode of AEW Collision
After enjoying massive babyface reactions from AEW crowds since the tail end of 2023, MJF finally embraced his dark side on the latest episode of Dynamite when he betrayed and attacked another fan favorite, Daniel Garcia.
One day after what seems to be an official heel turn, The Salt of the Earth broke his silence on social media. On X/Twitter, Friedman shared a graphic promoting his appearance on the July 6, 2024 edition of Collision. The upcoming episode of the Saturday night show will emanate from the Landers Center in Southaven, MS, and will be kicked off by MJF himself.
It remains to be seen how Friedman explains his deplorable actions from this past Wednesday.
