MJF takes a dig at WWE Hall of Famer after a massive threat
MJF recently took a dig at Bully Ray. This came after the WWE Hall of Famer declared that he would "kill" the former AEW World Champion on the microphone.
A few days ago, the 53-year-old star attended the Signed by Superstars event. He was asked about having a hypothetical mic battle with the current WWE United States Champion LA Knight during the live autograph convention. He said he would beat anybody, even Friedman, in an unscripted promo.
"Guys, let me explain something to you: There’s not one person in this industry who can hang with me on the microphone when no scripts are involved and those mics are hot. Nobody… He’d (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) get killed," he said.
Maxwell did take the comment lightly and took a major shot at the wrestling veteran on his X/Twitter account. He shared a picture of himself with a fan and claimed that the fan beside him was Bully Ray.
"Was so cool meeting up with my old pal Bully today at my autograph signing. He waited so patiently for his turn."
Teddy Long wants AEW to book a rivalry between MJF and Bobby Lashley
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is one of the top stars in AEW and Bobby Lashley is already a popular name in the wrestling industry.
During the latest edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long stated he would like to see The Wolf of Wrestling and The All Mighty in a feud in AEW.
"MJF, that's who I'd like to see him with. The reason why I would like to see that is because Bobby Lashley, he's a good talker but not the best talker. MJF's outstanding and can cut a hell of a promo and make this thing work with him and Bobby. I'd like to see that, and MJF is believable, he makes me believe," Long said.
The former WWE Champion arrived in Tony Khan's AEW during Fright Night Dynamite in October. He immediately confronted Swerve Strickland and attacked him on the show.
