Jon Moxley's match with Bryan Danielson was gruesome
The bitter rivalry between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson started when the former betrayed the latter at All Out 2024. At WrestleDream, the friends-turned-rivals went to war, with Moxley coming out on top. But a victory didn't satisfy The Purveyor of Violence.
Jon Moxley attacked Bryan Danielson before the match even started. Marina Shafir tried to interfere in the contest on behalf of her teammate a couple of times. The Blackpool Combat Club attacked Danielson after the contest. Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin came for the save, but the former turned on The American Dragon, shocking fans worldwide.
Yuta choked The American Dragon out with a plastic bag, and viewers also saw Claudio Castagnoli target Danielson's neck with a steel chair. The pay-per-view closed with the former World Champion being stretchered out of the arena.
