MJF threatens to break AEW star’s neck
MJF has grimly vowed to break a budding AEW star's neck on the promotion's upcoming pay-per-view. The latter is none other than Daniel Garcia.
The Wolf of Wrestling had a disappointing night at All In 2024, where he lost his AEW American Championship to Will Ospreay, who promptly restored it to the International Title. Friedman's loss at Wembley Stadium could partly be attributed to a returning Daniel Garcia, whose interference distracted MJF long enough to allow The Aerial Assassin to take advantage and pick up the win.
Garcia attacked MJF again on Wednesday Night Dynamite last week, evidently seeking vengeance against the latter for piledriving him from the second rope and severely injuring him earlier this year. The former ROH Pure Champion also revealed that he would take on The Salt of the Earth at All Out 2024, to be held this Saturday.
Garcia called out Friedman to another confrontation on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. MJF responded by resorting to his trademark microphone villainy and taking shots at the former JAS member's mother. He jumped over the guardrail and fought off security guards to attack the former AEW World Champion, but the latter managed to smash a bottle on his head, busting him open as a result.
With just around a day left before All Out, MJF took to Instagram to reiterate his promise to Daniel Garcia after bloodying him up on Dynamite that their bout in the Now Arena on September 7 will end with Friedman breaking The Red Death's neck.
"This Saturday someone's leaving with a broken neck on a stretcher. Spoiler: it won't be me. #Thankmelater," wrote MJF.

Jeff Jarrett thinks Daniel Garcia can upset MJF at AEW All Out 2024
In their last singles match on Dynamite in November last year, MJF successfully defended his AEW World Title against Daniel Garcia.
While many expect the same outcome for the imminent rematch between the two stars, veteran wrestler Jeff Jarrett believes the former Inner Circle member might pull off a huge upset win over the self-proclaimed generational talent.
Speaking on his My World podcast recently, The Last Outlaw said:
"Garcia's due for an upset," Jarrett said. "I think it's that simple. ... As young as MJF is, but he's got a hell of a statistical run, with dates and wins and everything that goes with that. Garcia is a young gun climbing that mountain. I think he's at a crossroads," he said.
It remains to be seen if Daniel Garcia can exact vengeance on MJF at All Out 2024.
