MVP breaks silence with a 9-word message after AEW debut
Former WWE United States Champion, MVP broke his silence with a subtle message on social media following his AEW debut this week. He made his surprising appearance at Grand Slam this week.
MVP recently departed WWE after not being featured much on TV for months. He has had two separate runs with the Stamford-based promotion. Meanwhile, after all the rumors and speculations regarding the 50-year-old veteran heading to All Elite Wrestling, he made his surprising debut on Dynamite: Grand Slam this week.
This past Wednesday on Dynamite: Grand Slam, Prince Nana showed up to provide an update on the former AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland after his brutal loss against Hangman Page at All Out. Nana surprisingly was interrupted by MVP. The former WWE Superstar questioned Prince Nana's management skills.
MVP also offered his services to Swerve Strickland by giving Prince Nana his business card. Following his surprising All Elite debut, the former United States Champion took to his Instagram handle to drop a subtle message regarding his new move. He wrote the following in his post:
"I am conducting my business in a new location...."
MVP also dropped a message on the 'X' social media platform sharing his debut video with the following words:
"So I was in Queens, New York...."
Former WWE veteran has reportedly signed with AEW
Following his AEW debut, fans were wondering whether the former WWE veteran MVP had signed with the promotion or whether it was just a one-off appearance. According to the recent report from Fightful Select, the former United States Champion has officially signed with Tony Khan's promotion.
Moreover, MVP's former partners in The Hurt Business, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin have also been rumored to go All Elite alongside him. Only time will tell whether the MVP brings his friends along as well.
