MVP takes a dig at WWE, makes a plea to AEW fans regarding The Hurt Syndicate
The Hurt Syndicate has arrived in full force in AEW. Last week on Dynamite, MVP Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley attacked Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. The group's leader has now extended an offer to AEW's fans.
MVP made his debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion at Grand Slam in September and immediately began seeking out clients. While there are a few prospects, the former WWE Superstar didn't plan on waiting around, and he quickly brought Shelton Benjamin in as his enforcer.
Bobby Lashley joined the crew on the most recent episode of Dynamite, and the three took out former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and his manager, Prince Nana. They've shown that they're ready to take over AEW by force, and they want to bring the fans along with them.
MVP took to X/Twitter today to extend his hand to fans. He addressed the criticism over The Hurt Business' booking in WWE and invited fans to join The Hurt Syndicate on their journey in All Elite Wrestling:
"You said we shouldn't have been broken up. We agreed. We took action. Join us if you support us. "The Hurt Syndicate" On AEW Dynamite!" he wrote.

Vince Russo claims The Hurt Syndicate could put Tony Khan in an uneasy position
MVP has already shown himself to be an expert in navigating the treacherous politics of wrestling promotions. Aside from The Hurt Syndicate's dominant display last week, Montel Vontavious Porter teased partnerships with stars like Max Caster and Ricochet, as well.
Having someone so intelligent and experienced could upend the landscape of AEW, and Vince Russo believes that would put Tony Khan in an uneasy position. Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the veteran touted MVP's intelligence:
"It all depends on the way they presented it and the beauty of this is, MVP's very intelligent. He can present this on an intellectual level, he could present it based on facts, he could literally make a case for it that would make people think about it, and that would put Tony Khan in an uneasy position. I think that's the perfect guy that could do that."
The faction has made one of the most impactful debuts in AEW history. Whether the group can continue their dominance remains to be seen.
