Mysterious 'new version' of Saraya (fka Paige) could be returning to AEW

Former WWE Divas Champion Saraya (fka Paige) teased her return on AEW Dynamite with an unfamiliar new version. She has not been on TV for more than a month now.

Saraya (fka Paige) made her AEW debut in 2022 after gaining prominence during her time in WWE. Although she has been a former All Elite Women's World Champion, Saraya's run in Tony Khan's promotion has been underwhelming. She has yet to appear on TV since her last match on an episode of Dynamite last month.

The former WWE Divas Champion took part in a No.1 contender's four-way match against Willow Nightingale, Jamie Hayter, and Nyla Rose but failed to earn a title opportunity. Amid her absence, Saraya was spotted posing on the red carpet of the 11th annual Reality Television Awards with a new look.

Interestingly, Saraya reacted to her look on the red carpet through her X/Twitter profile, where she teased a mysterious version of herself potentially returning on AEW Dynamite. She wrote the following in her post:

"Wait until this version makes her way back to dynamite."

A top AEW Champion's brother wants her to wrestle Saraya (fka Paige)

Current AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone recently revealed that her brother wants to see her wrestle Saraya (fka Paige). Mone and Saraya have a lot of history since their time in WWE, as Saraya got injured during a match with Mercedes. Mone revealed the following in her Mone Mag newsletter recently:-

"Joshua's face lit up as we walked by the AEW trucks, but when he saw Saraya on one of the trucks, he couldn’t contain himself, constantly asking, 'Mercedes, when are you going to wrestle Saraya?' That’s his dream match for me, and I can’t wait to make it happen someday."

Only time will tell when fans will witness a feud between Saraya and Mercedes Mone.
