"NEVER FORGET" - AEW star to finally get revenge 1 year after bloody attack
An AEW star has finally chance to settle a long-term grudge of his, as he'll be given an opportunity to face someone who left him bloodied up a year ago in a match this week. This would be Nick Wayne facing AR Fox.
Last year, Fox and Swerve Strickland feuded with Darby Allin and everyone close to him, including Sting and Nick Wayne. Allin helped bring Nick to the company, seeing as his father was his former mentor. In August 2023, Swerve and Fox visited the Buddy Wayne Academy and attacked The Prodigy to send a message to Darby. They even busted him open.
On X/Twitter, Nick Wayne had a message for AR Fox ahead of their match this weekend at AEW Collision. He mentioned how he has never forgotten about the attack he received at their hands last year. This will finally be his chance to get revenge after all they did to him.
"The Prodigy holds grudges. NEVER FORGET," wrote Wayne.

Nick Wayne was seemingly involved in the attack on an AEW veteran
An ongoing storyline featuring The Patriarchy is their current feud with Hook. The former FTW Champion's father, Taz, was attacked by a mystery assailant at the parking lot ahead of an episode of AEW Dynamite a few weeks ago,
Two weeks ago, Hook revealed that he knew the identity of those who attacked his father, and he'd make them pay. He confronted The Patriarchy and went first after Nick Wayne before confronting Christian Cage. This seemingly confirmed Wayne played a big role in the attack, with Christian being the mastermind of it all.
Tomorrow, on Dynamite, both sides will have a face-to-face confrontation as the truth about the situation will be revealed. It remains to be seen what will happen, with Hook looking to get back at them.
