Nia Jax, Zelina Vega, and more react after Saraya shares a heartbreaking personal update
AEW star Saraya is having a difficult time ahead of All In 2024. The 32-year-old is set to face Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at Dynamite in Cardiff, Wales, this week. On top of that, she recently lost a beloved pet, and several wrestling names have offered their love and support in response.
Saraya still hasn't made it onto the card for All In at Wembley Stadium. With the big event now less than a week away, her last chance to get there is on this week's Dynamite, where she'll have to wrest the AEW Women's World Championship from 'Timeless' Toni Storm in order to face Mariah May in London.
Just days after her 32nd birthday, tragedy befell the British star as she lost her pet parrot, Sunny. The former WWE Superstar took to Instagram today to say goodbye to him, posting several pictures of their time together.
Nia Jax, Zelina Vega, Renee Paquette, and others sent their condolences on Instagram. You can check out the reactions below.
Saraya makes plea to Tony Khan ahead of AEW All In
Despite winning the AEW Women's World Championship at last year's All In pay-per-view, Saraya has yet to find a way onto the card for the 2024 edition. She's aired her frustrations over the last few weeks, but now she's been given an opportunity to compete at Wembley Stadium.
On last week's AEW Rampage, 'Timeless' Toni Storm offered the British star a shot at the AEW Women's World title at this Wednesday's Dynamite. It's currently Saraya's only avenue to London, but she's hesitant about facing her former Outcasts partner.
The 32-year-old took to X last week to make a plea to Tony Khan and The Young Bucks. She wants to go to All In without having to face Toni Storm:
"Hey @TonyKhan @youngbucks do I HAVEEEE to wrestle Toni Wednesday or could you do me a birthday favour and just put me on All In? 👀," she wrote.
As of now, it doesn't look like the former WWE Superstar has a choice in the matter. If she wants to make it to All In, she'll have to defeat Storm and take the title. It's a tall order, and even if she manages to do it, she'll then have Mariah May to contend with on the big stage.
