Nic Nemeth declares 38-year-old star as the "absolute MVP" of AEW - "You know what he's done for the company"

AEW has been making major moves in its programming in recent months, with Jon Moxley on a mission to restore the promotion's glory. Recently, Nic Nemeth picked Moxley as MVP of All Elite Wrestling.

Jon Moxley has been the star of AEW ever since the company's inception in 2019. He has been involved in several key storylines and participated in some of the best matches in the promotion's history. Currently, Moxley and his faction are brutally attacking many stars who come on their way. The Death Rider recently captured the AEW World Championship from Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream and has undergone a slight shift in his character. This led many to believe Shane McMahon could be behind his faction. However, Shane-O-Mac is yet to make an appearance on AEW TV.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Nic Nemeth said Jon Moxley's new faction could have nothing to do with Shane-O-Mac. The current TNA World Champion also named Jon Moxley as the MVP of AEW.

"They could be alluding to somebody 'higher power' or something, but I really think it's just we're getting a reset," he opined. "Absolute MVP of AEW since they started is Moxley. They go back to him — when in doubt, go back to him."

The former Dolph Ziggler continued that it's hard to hate Moxley because everyone knows what he's done for the company backstage.

"There's a reason it's hard to boo Jon Moxley, even if he's playing a heel or an extra-vicious heel, because behind the scenes, you know what he's done for the company," Nemeth pointed out. [H/T WrestlingInc]

Nic Nemeth believes AEW should pull Mercedes Mone off TV

Many believe that Mercedes Mone has lost a lot of star power ever since her debut earlier this year. The fans who once cheered for her have quickly turned against her. However, Nic Nemeth has a solution to fix this.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nic suggested that Mercedes Mone should be pulled from TV and make her return again to make her feel fresh in the fans' eyes.

"Even if you cheered for them 9.5 out of 10, when [wrestlers] come back and make that return, catch you off guard, or you're excited about the return, it becomes a 10 out of 10. That really helps the product stay fresh for everybody," Nemeth said. [H/T: WrestlingINC]
