Nikki Bella teases coming out of retirement for blockbuster match against AEW star

Nikki Bella teased coming out of retirement for a major match against a top AEW star. This star is a former AEW Women's World Champion.

Britt Baker is widely regarded as one of the pillars of AEW. She built the company's women's division from the ground up and has become one of the biggest stars on the roster. Baker has already accomplished a lot in the company and is still looking to achieve so much more.

Recently, Britt Baker was a guest on Nikki and Brie Bella's live episode of their podcast called The Nikki & Brie Show. During the podcast, Nikki stated that she should come out of retirement to face Baker, which got a positive reaction from the crowd. Following the podcast, Nikki Bella took to social media to further tease a match between the two women.

Jim Cornette on why Nikki Bella wants to work with Tony Khan

Recently, reports started circulating that Nikki Bella was contemplating coming out of retirement when she saw Mercedes Mone's debut in AEW. Since then, Tony Khan has also commented on the Bella Twins joining his company, saying he would be happy to have them.

Speaking on his Official Jim Cornette podcast, the WWE veteran stated that Nikki wants to work with Tony Khan because she will get paid a lot of money to work less.

"He is setting up a precedent where if you have a name now in the women's division anywhere, they will give you a lot of money, and if he's heard that Riho really made 400 grand to work like 15 times, of course every woman in the business is gotta be like, 'yeah, I'd love to work for Tony Khan.'" It remains to be seen if anything will come of this interaction between Nikki Bella and Britt Baker.
