"No respect for what I do" - Former champion makes a big allegation after AEW snub

A controversial star and former champion from AEW, Max Caster, has lashed out at the Tony Khan-led promotion for a supposed snub on television. The 35-year-old is one-half of The Acclaimed, once one of the most popular homegrown tag teams in the company's history.

Platinum Max has seemingly been teasing a villainous turn in recent months ever since MVP handed him a Hurt Syndicate business card. His subsequent communication issues with Anthony Bowens cost the duo a chance to regain the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Full Gear 2024.

As tensions continued to develop between the members of The Acclaimed, Bowens had a confrontation with Chris Jericho on Christmas Collision, where he challenged the ROH World Champion to face him. Despite being upset with his partner for seemingly pushing on without him, Caster promised to accompany Bowens for his bout against The Learning Tree on Rampage: New Year's Smash.

During his entrance with The Scissor King on the December 27 edition of the Friday night show, Caster fired several shots at Jericho through his rap verses. However, some of the performance was evidently edited out for television by AEW, presumably because of its content, including references to the ongoing trial of Luigi Mangione.

The self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive later posted his unedited entrance rap on his Instagram story and called out the Jacksonville-based company for disrespecting his work.

"Since they cut my rap again, here's what I said. Whoever decided to chop it up is a huge p**** and has no respect for what I do and no respect for hip-hop," wrote Caster.
