‘Not everything can be great’ - AEW veteran reflects on WWE tenure under Vince McMahon
A top AEW star recently talked about his stint with WWE under former CEO Vince McMahon. The star being discussed is Chris Jericho, who spent several years in WWE and won multiple titles under McMahon.
Chris Jericho has been a huge asset to AEW since 2019. The Learning Tree has once again been the talking point of the Jacksonville-based promotion, as he won the ROH World Championship last week. He is leading the faction which consists of Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
The former FTW Champion has vast experience in WWE, where the star made a name for himself. He emerged onto the scene from WCW and was the first-ever Undisputed WWF Champion, defeating The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the same night.
While speaking on a recent appearance on the Adam Carolla Show, the WWE veteran revealed he was 'great' in terms of WWE business and learned a lot from him.
"Not everything can be great, but as far as the wrestling business goes, I learned a lot about the actual wrestling side from him," he said. [H/T - Wrestling Inc.]
AEW star Chris Jericho gives a huge update on his health
The former AEW World Champion has been wrestling for more than three decades and still wrestling classic matches. He recently discussed his daily routine on the Adam Carolla Show.
In the interview, the 53-year-old star revealed that he doesn't lift weights anymore as his joints are 'messed up' and focuses on diet.
"I mean it really is focused on diet now more than anything. I don’t lift weights, per se, anymore because my joints are getting too messed up. As you get older, how much you bench really doesn’t matter anymore. So a lot of dieting, constantly," he said.
It will be interesting to see who will be the first challenger for the ROH World Championship.
