Pac set to reunite with former AEW World Tag Team Champions

Top All Elite Wrestling star PAC is set to reunite with former AEW World Tag Team Champions on an upcoming wrestling show. The stars in question are The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey FĂ©nix).

Over the past few months, All Elite Wrestling has established a productive working partnership with CMLL. Several stars from the Tony Khan-led promotion, such as Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Bryan Danielson, Kyle Fletcher, and former TBS Champion Willow Nightingale, have recently performed for the Mexico City-based promotion. On the other hand, numerous talents from CMLL, including Mistico and Hechicero, have been featured on AEW programming lately.

The collaboration between the two companies seems to continue as a top trio from the Jacksonville-based promotion is announced for an upcoming CMLL show. In a video posted on CMLL's official X/Twitter account, the company revealed that Death Triangle, comprised of former AEW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Bros and former All-Atlantic Champion PAC, will be appearing at its July 26 event at Arena Mexico.

It is not yet known who the former AEW World Trios Champions will face at the show. While Penta and Fenix have previously competed in CMLL in 2018 and 2019, the upcoming event will mark PAC's first appearance in the promotion.

PAC may challenge for the AEW International Championship at All In 2024

On the 10th July 2024 episode of Dynamite, PAC won a Four-Way match also involving Claudio Castagnoli, Tomohiro Ishii, and Kyle Fletcher. The Man that Gravity Forgot secured the victory by locking Fletcher in his Brutalizer submission hold, forcing The Don Callis Family member to tap out. The win grants PAC a shot at the AEW International Championship.

After his triumph in the Global Glory match, the star cut a promo recounting the disappointments he has had to deal with since he returned to action this year. He pointed out his unsuccessful efforts at winning the Continental Title, the Unified World Trios Titles, and the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Despite his recent losses, the former WWE Superstar promised to capture his Wembley moment, indicating that he intends to cash in his shot at the International Title at All In 2024.

It will be interesting to see if PAC will face the newly crowned International Champion MJF in London next month or if Will Ospreay will try to regain the belt on the road to All In, especially considering the controversial manner of his loss.
