[Photo] 3-time AEW champion looks almost unrecognizable in new look

A former AEW Women's World Champion shared her new look on social media, which is very different from the usual. The star has been experimenting with her looks for the past several months.

The three-time AEW Champion in question is Hikaru Shida. The 36-year-old Japanese star has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since the company's inception in 2019. She is also known as The Ace of the All Elite Women's Division, being a former three-time Women's World Champion during her tenure as well.

Meanwhile, Shida has been absent since her last match on Rampage last month, where she defeated Harley Cameron. Shida also challenged Mercedes Mone for the TBS title at the All Out Pay-Per-View last month but failed to capture the title. Amid her absence from television, Hikaru Shida showcased her new look.

Shida took to X (fka Twitter) to share her latest picture in which she looks unrecognizable in full black hair. She also wrote the following in the caption of her post:

"Black!!!!! 🖤"

Hikaru Shida sent a message after failing to win the AEW TBS Title

As mentioned earlier, Hikaru Shida challenged Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at the recent All Out Pay-Per-View. Shida entered the title picture after quite some time as well. However, after a decent match, Mercedes got the better of Shida and managed to retain the TBS Title. Following her loss, Shida sent the following message on X (fka Twitter):

"From inside the ring, I found my mom was staring me in the crowds after finished the match. That made last night so special even I lost. Thank you for showing my mom your big supports!! #AEWAllOut"

Moreover, Hikaru Shida's return on television is still anticipated, and only time will tell what's next for The Ace of the Women's Division following her return.
