AEW star MVP met WWE legend Matt Hardy at a recent event. The former reacted to a post about their reunion on social media.

Montel Vontavious Porter has a history with The Sensei of Mattitude. His first major WWE feud was against Matt in 2007. The two stars were part of an intense storyline that saw them consistently target each other. However, their program eventually took a turn, and they became tag team partners. Despite reluctantly joining forces, the duo won the WWE Tag Team Championship once.

Westside Gunn and 4th Rope Pro Wrestling held the Heels Have Eyes 4 event on December 12 at Center Stage in Atlanta. Several All Elite Wrestling and TNA Wrestling stars were part of the show, including MVP and Matt Hardy.

A few hours ago, The Broken One took to X/Twitter to share a picture with the two-time WWE United States Champion.

"For reluctant pahrnurs, we did pretty well," Matt wrote about his alliance with Porter in WWE.

Porter responded to Matt's post with the following message:

"Pretty damn well indeed, Pahtnuh!!! 'C,'" he wrote.

Porter sent a message to the legendary tag team after their reunion. On Instagram, he wrote:

"The Hardys! Two of my absolute truest friends. And, two of my most bitter rivals! They are absolute LEGENDS!!! It was great seeing them tonight at @4thrope Heelz have Eyes 4!!!! I'm STILL the Captain!"
