[Photo] Britt Baker spotted with WWE Hall of Famers amid lengthy AEW hiatus

Two WWE Hall of Famers were recently spotted with Britt Baker amid her hiatus from AEW during an event away from the ring. The former superstars in question are The Bella Twins.

The former AEW Women's Champion has not been seen on-screen for more than nine months. She was last seen on September 16, 2023, when Collision came to her hometown of State College, Pennsylvania, in a match against Kris Statlander. Her hiatus is due to various health issues.

Earlier tonight, Brie Garcia posted photos of a recent edition of the Nikki and Brie Show as they took to the stage. She also revealed that Britt Baker, who was in attendance, joined them. She promoted their next show, featuring her husband, Bryan Danielson, as a guest.

"Absolutely loved that @realbrittbaker joined the chaos! She was the cherry on top! Really special night and can’t wait to create more fun tonight in San Francisco with @bryanldanielson and @theartemc," Brie wrote.

Tony Khan says Britt Baker's return is imminent

Many have been clamoring for the Doctor's return for some time now, as limited updates regarding her status have come out.

On the Forbidden Door media call, Arunava Ghoshal of Sportskeeda asked Tony Khan about Britt Baker's status and when a return can be expected. While the AEW President did not give a specific timeline, he mentioned how she was nearing a return.

He also talked about other stars, including Kenny Omega, Jamie Hayter, and Adam Cole, who were all recovering at an incredible pace. These names have been on a hiatus for an extended period, and fans hoped for further updates regarding their injury status.

With Forbidden Door season closing this weekend, we may see some developments in the week after the pay-per-view. It remains to be seen whether some returns could be in the making.
