[Photo] Massive AEW faction spotted at Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul
The AEW roster is filled with countless boxing fans. Many of their sights were set on the recent professional boxing match between the legendary Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. This showdown was won by the 27-year-old via unanimous decision.
Interestingly, the dominant AEW faction, The Hurt Syndicate, watched this bout live from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Earlier today, MVP posted a picture with fellow faction-mates Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley on his Instagram. The photo also had the new THS theme song playing in the background.
The Hurt Syndicate was known as The Hurt Business in the WWE. It currently has three members, but it could grow. When it was under the Stamford-based company's banner, it had a fourth member: Cedric Alexander. He is still signed to the WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand.
Bobby Lashley will lock horns with former Swerve Strickland at the upcoming Full Gear Pay-Per-View. This will be The Almighty's in-ring debut in the company.
AEW star MVP mentioned the criteria for joining The Hurt Syndicate
Renee Paquette recently interviewed the Hurt Syndicate on AEW Close-Up. During that, the television personality asked MVP about a potential fourth faction member. Although the former WWE United States Champion didn't give a clear answer, he mentioned the qualities an individual needed to have to join them.
"Well number one is coachability. They have to be coachable. Number two, they have to have swag, swagger, a sense of style and fashion because we are hashtag fashionably violent ... you can't have a nice pair of jeans. But I think the number one thing is coachability, athletic ability, and the desire to hurt people for money," said MVP. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]
It remains to be seen what the future holds for The Hurt Syndicate.
