Sting’s son Steven Borden has been spotted training with a seven-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This will come as a welcome sight to fans of the legend.

The star in question is none other than Adam Copeland (fka Edge). Copeland has been away from the ring ever since he relinquished the TNT Title after injuring himself in a match against Malakai Black at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

He was recently spotted alongside multiple AEW stars and Sting’s son. Steven Borden posted a picture with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, FTR's Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, and Darby Allin.

Darby Allin was saved by Sting at AEW All In 2024 after he lost his TNT Title match against Jack Perry. It is great to see all of them seemingly take Borden under their wing and teach him tricks of the trade.

Matt Cardona grateful to former WWE star Adam Copeland

Former WWE star Matt Cardona got his big break in pro wrestling as part of Adam Copeland’s faction, La Familia, between 2007 and 2009. After that, he went on to achieve big things in the company and now is a top name on the independent scene.

Cardona recently expressed gratitude towards Copeland for taking him under his wing. Speaking with Dr. Beau Hightower, The Indy God said:

"I'm going to do the ones who are influential to my career and my life. So I got to put [Hulk] Hogan on there. I got to put Edge on there, without him I probably wouldn't be on this table right now. I probably would have been fired from WWE in 2007 and probably I don't know what I'd be doing, working at Gold's Gym on Long Island after that. Yeah, Hogan, Edge, Macho Man [Randy Savage] for sure."

Matt Cardona last appeared in AEW when he took on Copeland in an impromptu match for the TNT Title.
