[PHOTO] Sting spotted in public for the first time since retirement

Sting has been spotted in public for the first time since retirement and sent a message to his fans on social media. This is sure to get the fans excited.

The Icon was last seen on TV at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on March 3, where he successfully defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks. After the match, he announced his retirement and has been in the shadows ever since.

The WWE Hall of Famer made his first public appearance since that day at WrestleCon - Destination Cleveland, which took place on August 2 and 3. After the event, the WCW Icon took to X/Twitter to send a heartfelt message to the fans who came to see him there.

“Thank you Cleveland! 👊🏼🦂,” he wrote.

There have been rumors that the 65-year-old could return to AEW in a non-wrestling role to fend off The Elite, who has become the company's de facto bosses. It will be interesting to see if that comes to fruition.

Kevin Nash shares details about his friendship with Sting

Sting and Kevin Nash have a lot of history together. This was back from their days in WCW. There was a lot of talk about how Nash was not present for The Vigilante’s final match.

Nash has now set the record straight and said that the two of them are very good friends. Speaking on a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer said:

"It was nice, really great. It was so great to see him because there was so much internet talk about me not going to Steve’s last match. … No, we love each other. He’s my friend. It’s like, he understands.”

It is great to see that the two former rivals are still great friends and that there are no hard feelings about not attending The Icon’s final match.
