Popular AEW star details not being at 100% capacity in recent performances

A top AEW star recently opened up about the health issues he faces due to his fast-paced wrestling style. The star being discussed is Will Ospreay.

The Aerial Assassin is been one of the top athletes in AEW. His matches include a lot of high-flying and high-risk maneuvers. In a very short period, he has become a beloved babyface in the company. Also, he had an incredible International Championship reign recently.

Will Ospreay lost the gold to his former stablemate Konosuke Takeshita at the WrestleDream Pay-Per-View in a threeway contest, alongside Ricochet. The contest saw high-paced action but late in the match, Don Callis interfered and helped The Alpha win the contest.

Ahead of the event, the former International Champion talked on the Masked Man Show. Ospreay spoke about his physical condition and soreness in the body he had due to the type of matches in wrestles. He also claimed that his body is never 100% ahead of a contest.

"The body's sore but when is it never sore? (...) Everything I do puts [a toll on my body]. (...) For me, I feel fine but I'm never going to be 100%. (...) I find ways of adapting to my environment and adapting to my situations. I don't really know [if I have a slower gear] (...) In a weird way, motion was the lotion to your body," he said. Will Ospreay's best friend Kyle Fletcher betrayed him at AEW WrestleDream

A couple of weeks ago, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher failed to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship because the former didn't cheat to find a way to win the match.

Seeking revenge for the missed opportunity, The Protostar played a major role in The Aerial Assassin's title loss. Kyle also hit a disastrous Tiger Driver on his former friend.

It will be interesting to see how Will Ospreay responds to Kyle Fletcher's despicable actions on the PPV.
