Popular AEW star has surprising reaction to Shane McMahon's secret meeting with Tony Khan - "I didn't even want to give it any thought" (Exclusive)
Shane McMahon recently had a secret meeting with the President of All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan. A popular AEW star has now given her reaction to this clandestine meeting.
Willow Nightingale was the latest person to comment on Shane McMahon's recent meeting with Tony Khan. The wrestling community was shocked when reports broke that the AEW boss had met with Shane-O-Mac. Additionally, a photograph from the meeting went viral on social media, adding to the frenzy.
This gave way to several speculations that Shane could be headed to AEW. However, neither have confirmed nor denied anything. During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, Nightingale said that she wasn't surprised to hear of Shane's meeting with Tony Khan. She also spoke of the numerous discourses on the internet nowadays and noted that she does not always believe what she sees online.
"Honestly, no because I know that there's a lot of things that make their way onto the internet and it's never as it seems, you know, there are stories that I've seen about my own locker room that I've been present for and the discourse online is just so out of hand and so ridiculous. So, for me to see something like that I didn't even want to give it any thought or speculation because I'm like, 'It's never what it looks like at first glance.' So, that's generally the way that I look at most things online and anything that you see from like the wrestling media," she said. [8:15 - 8:55]

Sam Roberts on Shane McMahon potentially debuting in AEW
After AEW All In, Jon Moxley cut a surprising promo on Dynamite when he said that this wasn't Tony's company anymore. This gave way to more speculation that Shane-O-Mac could be arriving in AEW. However, a WWE personality doesn't seem to think so.
Speaking on his NotSam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts mentioned that this Jon Moxley promo likely didn't have anything to do with Shane McMahon joining AEW.
"When he said this isn't your company anymore, it left a lot of people going Shane-O-Mac. Ever since that picture came out 'Is Shane-O-Mac coming? Is Shane-O-Mac coming?' I'm not gonna say I don't think Shane-O-Mac is gonna go to AEW 'cause I would be surprised if it happened. I don't know what that conversation is. I don't necessarily think this is AEW introducing Shane-O-Mac because if it is then he's basically bringing RAW Underground to AEW," he said. [1:01:42 - 1:02:12]
