Queen Aminata uses move retired for being too dangerous following a Bryan Danielson incident
Some maneuvers in wrestling are too dangerous to use, therefore, wrestlers retire them. One such maneuver is Tiger Driver 91 - a part of Will Ospreay's wrestling arsenal, which he recently used on Bryan Danielson.
At AEW Dynasty, The Aerial Assassin used Tiger Driver 91 on his opponent Bryan Danielson. It created a controversial scene where the medics had to check on Bryan Danielson following the match.
At the post-media scrum, Will Ospreay stated that he felt awful about the spot and even retired the dangerous move. He tried to use Tiger Driver 91 on MJF at Dynamite 250 but was reluctant to do so, which cost him his title.
Queen Aminata faced Athena for the ROH Women's World Title on ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024 on Friday, July 26. During the match, she used the deadly Tiger Driver 91 move on the champion. Despite this, she couldn't beat her opponent to win the title.
Analyst says Will Ospreay can defeat MJF with the move that almost incapacitated Bryan Danielson
Will Ospreay lost his AEW International Championship to MJF at Dynamite 250. Following the win, The Salt of the Earth unofficially rebranded the belt as the AEW American Championship. Both stars will collide at All In 2024 for the title once again.
Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, wrestling analyst Sam Roberts commented on the said match. He predicted that if The Aerial Assassin decides to hit Tiger Driver 91 on MJF, then it will be game over for the reigning AEW International Champion and that latter could even lose his title.
Roberts also predicted how AEW might play out the Will Ospreay and MJF rivalry storyline in the upcoming weeks. He stated that The Wolf of Wrestling might get projected as a true heel to convince the fans that he deserves to receive the fatal Tiger Driver 91 at All In at Wembley.
