Real-life Bloodline member claims AEW star isn’t “giving it a 100%,” unlike his WWE run (Exclusive)

A real-life member of the Anoa'i family Bloodline claimed that a former WWE Superstar is not giving his 100% in AEW. He also offered huge praise for the star.

The real-life Bloodline member in question is Lloyd Anoa'i. He is the son of the late Samoan wrestling legend, Afa. He is also known for his time in multiple wrestling promotions such as WWE and ECW in the 1990s and has been on the indie scene lately. Meanwhile, Lloyd praised the current AEW star, Malakai Black.

Lloyd Anoa'i praised Malakai Black's presentation when he was in the Stamford-based promotion before his release in 2021. Speaking exclusively on Sportskeeda Wrestling, Lloyd Anoa'i claimed that Malakai is not giving his 100% in AEW as he did in the Stamford-based promotion.

"I'll tell you what, I love that guy when he first started and just his character and when they used to have him like coming up out of like coffin and stand up. When I was at TV every time I seen him, I said, 'bro, I just love your work and you know appreciate it, and that a lot of respect from you, and I really appreciate it,' because he's a great worker, he is, and I think now he's in AEW, but I don't think he is giving it a 100% like he did when he was in WWE. You can see the difference in his work." [From 53:09-53:40]

Former WWE star failed to capture a title shot in AEW

The former WWE Superstar, Malakai Black, recently came up short in capturing an AEW World Tag Team Title shot. On Collision last Saturday, Malakai teamed with Buddy Matthews to compete in the number one contender's three-way tag team match against Top Flight and Private Party, where the latter emerged victorious.

Moreover, Malakai has not had a great singles run lately in AEW as well. Only time will tell what's next for Black.
