Red Velvet makes a massive debut outside AEW

Red Velvet is currently signed to Tony Khan's AEW and ROH promotions. She recently made a massive debut outside of Khan's companies.

Red made her AEW debut in June 2020 and became an official member of the company's roster in March 2021. She began wrestling for Ring of Honor in late 2023. She is the reigning ROH Women's World Television Champion. The star won the title from Billie Starkz at ROH Death Before Dishonor in July 2024.

CMLL recently held its Viernes Espectacular event at Arena Mexico on October 18, 2024. During the event, Red Velvet made her debut and teamed up with Viva Van, Alex Windsor, and Samantha Black to defeat the team of Amapola, Sanely, Metálica, and Olympia in a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls match. She picked up the victory for her squad by pinning Stanley.

Bryan Danielson was responsible for Red Velvet's comeback to the ring

Red Velvet was out of action for most of the year in 2023 due to an injury she suffered. But she made a successful comeback to the ring later in the same year. At the Death Before Dishonor 2024 post-show media scrum, she thanked Bryan Danielson for helping her through the tough times in her life last year.

"I've just been working with so many people. I had to thank Bryan Danielson. He's been like a huge part of my comeback, and investing in me and seeing what I can do and believing in me. I can thank everybody, Tony Khan, all these people so. That list will go on," said the 32-year-old female star.
