Renee Paquette reacts to Becky Lynch seemingly announcing her retirement from WWE
AEW personality Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young) sent a heartfelt message to WWE veteran Becky Lynch amid a possible retirement announcement. Renee commented on Becky's recent Instagram post.
Becky Lynch is undeniably one of the greatest women's wrestlers of all time who helped put over the women's revolution in wrestling as well. She gained prominence during her time in WWE from 2013 to date. After a decade in the Stamford-based promotion, Becky has seemingly announced her retirement.
It was recently reported that the former Women's World Champion would not be extending her contract with WWE amid her absence after her last match in May. In between all the rumors and speculations, Becky took to her Instagram handle to share an emotional post hinting at her retirement. The Man wrote the following in the caption:
"It’s been a helluva career, Being the Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV."
Meanwhile, the wrestling fraternity took notice of the above post by Becky and sent heartfelt messages through the comment section. Former WWE interviewer and broadcaster Renee Paquette also sent her wishes for The Man with three heart emojis in her comment section.
Becky Lynch's last match in WWE
Before she disappeared from WWE TV, Becky Lynch was in the title picture. After Rhea Ripley had to relinquish her title due to injury, Becky became the new WWE Women's World Champion by winning a Battle Royal.
However, The Man eventually lost her title to Liv Morgan at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. In her last televised match on WWE RAW in May, Becky lost to Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage Match.
Meanwhile, there is no update on Becky's future in pro wrestling. Only time will tell what's next for The Man.
