Renee Paquette reacts to Sami Zayn’s heartfelt post after WWE Intercontinental Championship loss at SummerSlam

AEW personality Renee Paquette has reacted to Sami Zayn's emotional post following his loss this Saturday. She has been working as an announcer and backstage interviewer for All Elite Wrestling since 2022.

The Great Liberator has been one of the most decorated stars in the company for many years. Booked as an underdog for the last decade, Zayn is currently enjoying his run as a top star in the Stamford-based promotion. He cemented his legacy as a dominant star after dethroning Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XL.

Sami Zayn got a couple of wins over Chad Gable. However, his next challenger, Bron Breakker, put Sami's title reign in jeopardy. The young star's dynamic moves and agility had taken out the Intercontinental Champion multiple times.

At Money In The Bank 2024, Bron failed to defeat Sami Zayn by an inch. However, redeeming his mistakes, Breakkerwon the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.

Sami broke his silence on his recent loss and claimed that the recent Intercontinental Championship reign was the 'most special title run' of his career.

Bron Breakker praised Sami Zayn

The former NXT Champion has been feuding with the Great Liberator for a couple of months now. Their rivalry seemingly ended after he dethroned Sami at SummerSlam.

While speaking on Getting Over, the 26-year-old star heaped praises for the former Intercontinental Champion.

"It's been great man. I've spent a heck of time and Sami [Zayn] is so good and such a great dude. It's been a pleasure of mine to be able to share the ring with him and you know a bucket list thing for me. Man, I'm just excited for the years to come," Breakker said.

It will be interesting to see what is next for Zayn after losing the Intercontinental Championship.
