Renee Paquette smashes beer bottle on AEW star's head, says it was in her contract
Renee Paquette is one of the most popular names in the world of professional wrestling. She is a commentator, presenter, and interviewer, and is currently signed to AEW. Before joining the Jacksonville-based company, Renee was signed to WWE. Furthermore, she is married to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
AEW has several non-wrestling shows. One among them is titled Meal & a Match, hosted by Renee Paquette and RJ City. Recently, the promotion's X account announced that the second episode of the show would feature Darby Allin. They released a 21-second promo clip for this episode in which Paquette unexpectedly smashed a beer bottle on her co-host, RJ City's, head.
Earlier today, the presenter quoted this clip and claimed that smashing the beer bottle on City's head was a part of her contract.
"Smashing @RJCity1 with a beer bottle was in my contract,'' she wrote.
Jon Moxley claims he would have died had he not met Renee Paquette
In a recent conversation with Authority Magazine, reigning AEW World Champion Jon Moxley revealed that his life would have been ruined had he not met Paquette. Furthermore, he called her the MVP of his life.
Moxley and Paquette reportedly began dating in 2013. They tied the knot in April 2017.
"If I had to give out an MVP trophy for the profound difference maker in my life, it would unquestionably go to my wife, Renee Paquette, hands down. I might very well be dead had our paths never crossed. I was lucky enough to meet her right as I was starting to realize some material success, so that was a bit of a crossroads where I could have easily veered down a more destructive path. Meanwhile, Moxley and his Blackpool Combat Club stablemates have been causing havoc on AEW TV in recent times. It will be interesting to see which star steps up to the tyrant group in the coming days.
