Renee Paquette wants to see recently departed WWE Superstar in AEW

AEW personality Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young) expressed her desire to see a former WWE Hall of Famer in Tony Khan's promotion. The veteran recently departed the Stamford-based promotion.

The superstar in question is none other than Beth Phoenix. The 43-year-old is reportedly no longer under contract with WWE after spending nearly 17 years with the company. During her tenure in the biggest wrestling promotion, she won multiple titles and accolades. Phoenix also had a mixed tag team run with her husband, Adam Copeland (fka Edge), last year.

Meanwhile, Copeland is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, and fans on the internet are calling for Beth to join her husband there as well. A fan on X/Twitter recently asked whether Beth Phoenix should go All Elite or not. To this, former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker replied 'yes.'

Following Britt, another AEW personality, Renee Paquette expressed her desire to see Phoenix in Tony Khan's promotion as well. Renee replied to Baker's answer on X with two words only:

"Also yes," Paquette wrote.

Adam Copeland (fka Edge) on having the WWE Hall of Famer in AEW

Adam Copeland (fka Edge) made his surprising AEW debut at the WrestleDream pay-per-view last year. During the post-show media scrum, Copeland was asked whether his wife and WWE Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix, could join him in All Elite Wrestling.

The Rated-R Superstar stated the following regarding the same:

“Anytime I get to be close to Beth, obviously, I’m going to be super excited about that. I don’t know about the possibilities of that in the foreseeable. I love being around her, obviously, and we’ve had a blast when we did get to work together."

Meanwhile, the probability of Beth joining Copeland in AEW is higher after her WWE departure. Only time will tell if the couple will reunite in Tony Khan's promotion.
