After winning the 2024 T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma performed Ric Flair's iconic strut on the big stage. The Nature Boy has since reacted to it.
Ric Flair is one of the most iconic wrestling personalities in the world. He was a huge star in the '70s and '80s and still remains fondly remembered by fans. Flair was known for his flamboyant nature and the way he conducted himself.
Flair is also known for his iconic 'Wooooo!' and his famous strut. Over the years, many people have copied Flair's strut across various sports and industries, including cricket.
Yesterday, India pulled off a miraculous win against South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup in Barbados. This ended their 17-year drought of not winning a T20 World Cup since the first in 2007. As a result, the Men in Blue were ecstatic. During the trophy presentation, Rohit Sharma, India's captain, performed Ric Flair's strut on his way to receive the trophy.
The Nature Boy has since taken to social media to react to Rohit Sharma performing the move he made famous.
".@ImRo45 taking a page out of my playbook! WOOOOO!"

Ric Flair names his favorite wrestlers
Ric Flair joined AEW last year to be a part of Sting's farewell journey. He even made an appearance during his final match and was physically involved. However, since then, Flair has not been seen on TV.
During a recent interview with SBNation, Flair named some of his favorite wrestlers. He obviously chose Charlotte Flair as his most favorite but he also praised other talent in both WWE and AEW. He then named the Young Bucks, MJF, Darby Allin, and Orange Cassidy as some of his favorites.
"Well, number one would be my daughter [Charlotte Flair], of course. But Randy [Orton], AJ [Styles]. I mean I like a lot of guys, like MJF. It’s hard to pick out four or five guys, but I mean we got great, great talent in both companies. You know, it’s hard to say who’s the best but I have some favorites. The Young Bucks are just absolutely sensational. What a phenomenal match they gave Sting and Darby [Allin]. (Laughing) Darby is too much, man. Orange Cassidy is one of my favorites. I mean, all those guys are great, wonderful people.” [H/T - SB Nation]
It will be interesting to see when Ric Flair makes his next onscreen appearance in AEW.
