The Absolute One has been in a confusing situation as of late, as he has been absent from TV for almost four and a half months despite not having any major injuries or prior commitments. This has fueled speculation that he's on his way out of the company and possibly signing with WWE once his contract expires.

On X/Twitter, Ricky Starks made a quick shout-out to those fans who would constantly check on him and provide their support. He brought up how this was overwhelming. Fans have been vocal about him, his booking, and how he deserved better treatment over the past few months, and this was him acknowledging all of that.

Ricky Starks reveals his new project away from the ring

Amidst his absence from AEW, Ricky Starks recently revealed that he has been chosen for a collaboration with world-renewed brand Prada. He was chosen to take part in a commercial for the popular shoe Lugz in collaboration with the Italian brand.

On Instagram, he posted some of the photos for the commercial's photoshoot, which showed him wearing the shoe that he was modeling for.

"New Lugz commercial but with @prada #absolute," the AEW star posted.

At this point, despite several rumors about his future, nothing sure can be said regarding the Absolute One. His contract situation is currently up in the air, and it remains to be seen whether he stays on hiatus until it expires or makes his long-awaited return to the promotion, even for just a while.
