Former AEW Tag Team Champion recently Ricky Starks shared a picture of him looking insanely jacked amid his absence. Starks is reportedly having backstage heat in Tony Khan's promotion.

Ricky Starks has not been on TV for nearly four months now and fans have been speculating about his future with the promotion. He last appeared on an episode of Collision in March where he teamed up with Big Bill and suffered a defeat against Top Flight in the AEW World Tag Title tournament quarter-finals.

Amid his AEW absence, Starks is also reportedly said to have backstage heat. Although Starks has been out of action, he is quite active on social media where he often shares his latest pictures. Meanwhile, The Absolute has yet again garnered the attention of the internet wrestling community with his latest picture.

The star took to X/Twitter recently to share a picture of him looking ripped. The Absolute One also wrote in the caption of the post that he could never fail.

Tony Khan on Ricky Starks' AEW absence

AEW President Tony Khan recently reflected on the absence of Ricky Starks from TV. During an interview with SHAK Wrestling in May, Khan stated the following when asked about Starks:

"I really, really like Ricky Starks a lot; the last time we saw him here was in the World Tag Team Championship Tournament. He and Big Bill formed a great team, and they were the World Tag Team Champions! I think Ricky Starks is tremendous! I'd love to get him involved and back in AEW anytime. He's been a huge part of what we've done here for about four out of five years, and tons of respect for Rico!"

Moreover, many fans have been speculating that Starks is headed to the WWE as well. Only time will tell what the future has in store for The Absolute One.
