Ricky Starks has the perfect opportunity to make himself a megastar after recent events, says WWE veteran (Exclusive)
AEW star Ricky Starks previously made headlines after he was apparently spotted backstage in WWE. While this has resulted in a lot of polarizing buzz, a veteran thinks Ricky could turn this around to his benefit.
Despite being one of the most talented names in the Jacksonville-based promotion, Ricky has not had much screen time of late. This has understandably caused some frustration on his part. However, EC3 believes that there is still plenty Ricky can do right now to cement his prominence in the wrestling scene.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, the former WWE star stated:
"If he does this right, he can be one of the hotter names in wrestling, because all of this, all this attention is making him seem very much as a protagonist in this situation. He just wants to work, he just wants to do his thing. All these people are holding him back legitimitely. It's not that fake 'I am being held back in wrestling, I am being buried in wrestling.'" The WWE veteran pitched an idea for the AEW star
According to EC3, Ricky Starks should take this opportunity to establish himself despite not being active in the AEW ring.
Adding to his previous comments on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, the WWE veteran stated:
"I think he can definitely run with it and make it something huge. If I were him, I would be doing vignettes around, like, I am locked in prison, and just keep putting out like weird content." [3:55 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen what Ricky Starks plans to do next.
