Ricochet, Athena, and other AEW stars react after 4-time champion suffers a career-threatening injury
Four-time champion Chris Bey recently suffered a career-threatening injury. AEW stars like Ricochet, Athena, and others took to social media to react to this unfortunate incident.
Bey began his wrestling career in 2016 and has worked for many top promotions such as WWE and Ring of Honor. He makes appearances for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and is currently signed to TNA where he is a three-time Impact/TNA World Tag Team Champion and one-time Impact X Division Champion.
In a recent TNA taping in Detroit, he sustained a serious neck injury while wrestling with Ace Austin against The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) for the TNA World Tag Team Titles.
He was seen lying motionless for a while and was stretched out of the arena and taken to a hospital where he immediately went under the knife. Following this unfortunate incident, AEW stars like Athena, Ricochet, Danhausen, Christopher Daniels, and more took to X (fka Twitter) to send him prayers for a speedy recovery.

Former WWE star Ricochet tagged Bey and shared a praying hands emoji on the social media platform.

Former AEW star CM Punk reacts to Chris Bey's injury news
When CM Punk found out that Chris Bey was knocked out cold and carried out of the arena in a stretcher from a TNA iMPACT taping, he logged in to his Instagram story to react to the tragic news.
"[red heart emoji] Thinking about @dashingchrisbey Positive thoughts [raising hands emoji]," The Best in the World wrote.
The details of Bey's injury have been kept private. A GoFundMe campaign was later set up to help cover the costs of his recovery.
