Ricochet reacts to Baron Corbin's WWE departure with a three-word post

AEW star Ricochet recently sent out a message to Baron Corbin, giving props to the latter following his departure from WWE. Both men began their careers with the Stamford-based promotion in NXT but never competed in the ring there. They eventually crossed paths during their time on the main roster.

The Lone Wolf was associated with the Stamford-based company for 12 years, and this includes back-and-forth moves from NXT and the main roster, with several title reigns added to his list of accolades.

On X/Twitter earlier today, Baron Corbin revealed that his time with WWE was coming to an end. Reports revealed that the 40-year-old star's contract with the company was set to expire, and they decided not to re-sign him.

Ricochet replied to his post with a three-word message and gave credit to him for his great career with the Stamford-based promotion.

"You're the man!"

Former AEW star recently sent out a message to Baron Corbin after being his last opponent in WWE NXT

A former AEW star recently sent out a message to Baron Corbin following his departure from WWE, as he also brought up an interesting piece of information regarding their previous match against each other. This would be Lexis King.

The 31-year-old star took to X/Twitter to send a message to Corbin. He was unsure if this was a message regarding his time with the company or whether he was also ending his time in the wrestling industry. Lexis also mentioned how their match with each other was The Lone Wolf's last match in NXT, and the former was happy that he had the honor to be the latter's last opponent in the developmental brand.

"Idk if this means you are taking a hiatus or hanging up the boots for good, but if that’s the case then it was an honor and a privilege to learn from you and to be your last opponent 👑," King shared.
