Ricochet reacts after top AEW star makes a shocking return ahead of All In

Ricochet is undoubtedly one of the most talented free agents in the current wrestling landscape. Aged 35, the high flyer is best known for his time in the WWE, which began in 2018 and concluded earlier this year. In the Stamford-based promotion, he won numerous titles such as the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the NXT North American Championship, the WWE United States Championship, and more.

Before signing for WWE, Ricochet performed for various companies across the world such as Dragon Gate, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Lucha Underground, and more. He even made several appearances in the British promotion, RevPro. During his time in the independent scene, he battled AEW star Will Ospreay multiple times. Their high-octane matches are now considered classics. Ospreay unexpectedly showed up at the recent RevPro Summer Sizzler event. Interestingly, the 35-year-old reacted to this return on X.

Ricochet asked the former AEW International Champion if he remembered the time when he and the British star attacked Vader in the very same arena where RevPro Summer Sizzler was held.

"Remember when we double enzguri'd Vader. Then gave him back to back top rope shooting star presses in this building? 🤣"

Will Ospreay will lock horns with MJF at the upcoming All In pay-per-view, which will take place later this month at Wembley Stadium, London.

Will Ospreay is hopeful that former rival Ricochet will sign for AEW

In a ComicBook Nation interview conducted earlier this year, Ospreay revealed that he wanted to face Ricochet like the old days. Furthermore, he stated that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion's work is appreciated by many, and he wants to see him in AEW.

"I want him to know that there are people here that genuinely appreciate his work and I want to wrestle him again. I want him back here," said Ospreay. [H/T Sportskeeda]

The former WWE star's next destination remains unclear, however, it is heavily rumored that he is headed to the Jacksonville-based promotion.
