Ricochet sends a one-word message to Adam Cole ahead of AEW All In
Former WWE star Ricochet sent out a message to Adam Cole ahead of AEW All In later this month. This could be seen as a potential clue as to what might happen regarding his own future in the pro wrestling business.
The former Intercontinental Champion left WWE in June and that came as a shock to everyone. Since then, there have been rumors that he could be heading to AEW. Adam Cole, for his part, has been away from the ring after he was attacked by the returning MJF at Double or Nothing.
He has not made much of a noise since then until now when he posted a picture of himself without any caption. In response to the post, the former WWE star wrote back a simple four-letter message.
Commenting under the picture, he wrote:
“Boom.”
This comment from him is rather interesting at this point in time as it could be seen as a hint that he could soon show up in AEW. On the other hand, it could just be a friend showing support to another friend.
Swerve Strickland breaks silence on Ricochet
Ricochet’s name is the one thing that is on the lips of all wrestling fans and rightly so. He is one of the most in-demand wrestlers despite leaving WWE.
The AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland recently broke his silence about the former WWE star and said that it was up to him alone if he decided to make the move to the other side.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, he said:
"I mean, we’ve had our matches without the masks in MLW. We’ve had Strickland versus Ricochet before. It’s up to him. I don’t know. We’ll see. Competition’s stiff in AEW and there’s also a different type of ladder to climb in a lot of different ways here. It doesn’t necessarily make it easier. It’s difficulties on both sides of things, and you gotta adapt."
It will be interesting to see how Ricochet views this message. The one thing that he can be sure of is that there will be a lot of competition in AEW if he decides to sign up with the Jacksonville-based promotion.
