Roman Reigns' cousin wants a dream match with MJF in AEW (Exclusive)

One of Roman Reigns' cousins spoke about having a dream match with MJF in AEW. He previously worked in WWE for a couple of years.

Afa Anoa'I Jr. is one of the lesser-known stars of the famous Anoa'I family, unlike his relatives Roman Reigns, The Rock, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa. However, he did wrestle for WWE from 2007 to 2009. During this time, he formed the stable Legacy with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr.

Following his departure from WWE, Afa has been plying his trade in the independent circuit but he has never competed in a WWE ring since departing. Afa recently did an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's SummerSlam Pre Show where he spoke about joining AEW. During this conversation, he named MJF as a dream opponent:

"Who would I work there? I think MJF would be a good matchup. But I'm a heel. I like to be a heel. To me MJF is that guy there, you know, MJF is a safe bet." [44:50 to 45:05]

Mark Henry feels fans shouldn't be surprised if Roman Reigns doesn't show up at SummerSlam

Solo Sikoa is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. In recent weeks, Solo has been vocal in taking shots at Roman Reigns leading fans to believe that he could return at SummerSlam to take his place at the Head of the Table again.

Speaking on his Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry believes that fans shouldn't be surprised if Roman doesn't show up at SummerSlam since that would add to the suspense:

“I don't think so. Because I think that sometimes you have to go off the air like the old Batman movies. Same bat time, same bat channel, tune in next week to see what happens. I want suspense. I want to see everybody be entertained. So, with that being said, sometimes you have to get tap danced on even with a win. Give them a tap dance. And they waving at the curtain, somebody come help, there is nobody to help. You not going to be mad at Roman for not showing up. Nobody is expecting Roman. I mean, they would like it but there is nowhere in the laws that says, 'hey Roman might show up.' That is you speculating,” he said.

It remains to be seen when Roman Reigns will decide to make his return to the WWE since he hasn't been seen since WrestleMania 40.
