Rumored AEW signee to debut as a heel and join forces with Mercedes Moné at All In? Exploring the possibility
Tony Khan might add a talented star to his roster, who could soon join forces with Mercedes Moné. The star in question is Kamille.
Earlier this year in April, Fightful reported that the former NWA World Women's Champion had signed a deal with AEW in February 2024. She hasn't been brought on TV yet. But she recently teased her debut in the promotion.
One of the ways Tony Khan could introduce Kamille to TV is by aligning her with Mercedes Moné. It could be a part of a long-term storyline just like AEW did with Mariah May and Toni Storm. After May came to AEW, she partnered with the AEW Women's Champion and later betrayed and attacked her after turning heel.
The same could happen and Kamille could debut as a heel to side with Mercedes Moné. She could also play the role of The CEO's bodyguard, given the latter's stature in the company.
Going to All In, Mercedes could really use some help against Britt Baker, if the two do end up facing each other at Wembley Stadium in London.
Britt Baker praises Mercedes Moné
After her return, Britt Baker started a feud with Mercedes Moné. She even challenged the current TBS Champion to a match at All In which the latter refused. Despite being rivals, she went out on a limb to laud The CEO as a pro wrestler.
"First, and even now, it's exciting. She's arguably one of the biggest names in women's wrestling, and has been for a very long time. It's cool that she chose AEW first and foremost... That was super rewarding because she's always been one of my favorite wrestlers, and I've been very open about that. I've said that in many interviews. It was always a dream match of mine," said Baker.
However, Baker didn't fail to call out Mone for being arrogant and too proud of her accomplishments outside AEW.
